JUVÉDERM® injections can give you the smooth, youthful-looking skin you desire without making it look as though you have had any cosmetic work done. The hyaluronic acid-based filler adds volume under the skin to plump up facial folds and wrinkles and fill out features that have sagged or hollowed-out with age. After JUVÉDERM® treatment, other people will notice that you generally look younger, but they will not be able to tell exactly what has changed.

JUVÉDERM® Candidacy
JUVÉDERM® may be a suitable option for you if you are at least 21 years old and unhappy with fine lines or wrinkles around your nose and/or mouth. If you are pregnant or nursing, you should delay treatment with any injectable, including JUVÉDERM®.
Why Choose Us?
The quality of your JUVÉDERM® results depends on the skill and experience of your injector. Dr. Ereso and our aestheticians have been using JUVÉDERM® for years and understand exactly where and how to place the injections for the most flawless results. Consultation/Preparation
Prior to your JUVÉDERM® treatment, you will speak with our team about your particular areas of concern and what you hope to achieve. You will also be asked to review your medical history, current medications and allergies to ensure there are no safety concerns.
Special preparations are usually not necessary prior to JUVÉDERM® treatment. In the days immediately before your appointment, refrain from taking any blood-thinning medications, exposing unprotected skin to the sun or using harsh exfoliating or new-to-you skincare products.
JUVÉDERM®Treatment Details
Before starting the injections, the provider will cleanse the target areas of your face. Ice or a topical numbing cream can be applied to make the injections more comfortable.
Using a thin needle or cannula, the provider will inject the JUVÉDERM® just underneath the skin. Almost immediately, the skin should appear plumper and smoother. The provider will work slowly and deliberately to avoid over-filling the target treatment area.
Downtime/Results
Right after your appointment, you can resume your normal routine, as long as you avoid direct sun exposure and strenuous activities for 24 hours.
The longevity of your results will vary according to the specific product used as well as how quickly your body metabolizes it.
Risks/Safety
Possible complications from Juvéderm® include the following:
- Lumps and bumps
- Infection
- Changes in skin pigmentation
- Temporary side effects such as redness, swelling, itching and bruising
By selecting an experienced injector, you can significantly mitigate your risk of complications.
